Confidential advising /
mentoring sessions
with Barry Bub, M.D.
Your
ability to work as a healer is dependent upon the state of your
emotional well-being and spirit. Should you be dispirited,
demoralized and depressed, this will adversely affect your
ability to listen, support and lift the spirits of your
patients. For this reason we offer private, confidential
telephone sessions in which you get to
speak freely
with Dr. Bub; express your practice stresses & issues; feel
skillfully heard & supported and attain a sense of calm &
empowerment.
Sessions
are highly interactive and geared towards offering you fresh
insights into challenging issues; raising your awareness of your
needs; challenging fixities of thinking that limit you;
reframing problems and situations; teaching practical
applications of new skills that transform your encounters with
others. During these sessions you will experience active
listening and will be helped to “unlearn” some of the erroneous
lessons learned during your training – ones which are now
harming you.
You will
find that the sessions are emotionally and intellectually
stimulating and uplifting. Any resultant change in your behavior
is neither forced nor uncomfortable. You will be given an
opportunity to safely practice your new skills in private
role-plays and narratives.
What may
seem to be an overwhelmingly stressful professional issue may
turn out to the springboard to your valuable personal and
professional growth.
